Serigraph wooden Icon Saint Spyridon (7,5 x 10)
Serigraph wooden Icon of Saint Spyridon the Wonderworker Bishop of Trymithous, with landscape of Corfu for background and ships that represent the naval battle during the siege of Corfu from the Ottomans (August 1716) and the miracle from Saint Spyridon released the island from that siege (11 August).
The icon is copy from an hagiography made by the corfiot hagiographer Evangelos Mavronas for the church of Saint Spyridon for the 300 years anniversary from the miracle of Saint Spyridon (11 August 2016).
